Volunteer Stewardship Workday @ North Park Village Nature Center | Chicago | Illinois | United States

Volunteers, whether individuals, families or groups, help restore our natural areas. Students can earn service hours, and everyone earns a great sense of fulfillment. Children not yet in High School must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Activities may include trail maintenance, invasive plant species removal, seeding or planting. All tools and training provided. New faces welcome! NOTE: Dress for the weather – most work is done outdoors. When the temperature is below 10 degrees F, the workday will be cancelled.

Registration required. Questions? Please call the Nature Center at 312-744-5472.

45th Ward Mom is a portal for those who live, work and raise families in Chicago’s 45th Ward. The goal of 45th Ward Mom is to keep families informed of current events, activities and issues which affect our neighborhoods and our families. By staying informed and engaged, we can work as partners to increase participation, involvement and strengthen our community. This is an interactive portal, so if you have any events or activities, please feel free to post. We’d be happy to share and spread the word!
